LEGORA

Legora x Cooley GO Lab Launch

Branded header animation for a product launch.

About the Project

Cooley put its own workflows inside Legora and opened the result to Y Combinator's summer 2026 batch. Cooley GO Lab checks NDAs and contractor agreements against market terms, gives a company one workspace for its own files, and sits on top of the Cooley GO knowledge base. All of it built on Legora Portal.

Founders do not want to learn a legal tool. That was the real problem here. The only thing a founder wants to know is whether this saves them a call with their lawyer, and the animation had about eight seconds to answer that.

A firm with 1,400 lawyers moving this early says something about where legal work is going. The piece leads the announcement and has to land before anyone decides to scroll.

How we made it

Made together with Studio Wieandt, who handles the graphic design side of Legora's brand. They set the visual language, we took it into motion.

Selected scenes

Scene 1

01 Opening

A split frame and two names. Cooley on the light side, Legora on the dark one, and one line sitting with them: legal insights at startup speed. Nothing else moves. The split comes back at the end with the sides swapped.

Scene 2

02 The workspace

Cooley GO Lab loads. The banner runs across the top with the red lines moving through it, and the columns fill in underneath: projects, databases, workflows. Then the library itself, the documents a founder never wants to read, and a prompt box opening over them.

Scene 3

03 The answer

Someone asks what an 83(b) election is and whether they need to make one. The agent searches, thinks, and comes back with the steps, the thirty day deadline, and the Cooley article it pulled from sitting open beside it. That is the whole pitch in one shot. The question you would have called a lawyer about, answered in the tool.d Corte dei Conti precedents. The shot exists to make one point: none of it lives somewhere else anymore.
